The very moment one hears the name of the legendary filmmaker Shyam Benegal, one is assured of class and authenticity. After directing many a meaningful cinema for the silver screen, Benegal will now be seen making a 90-minute film on the turbulent history of Punjab, a task which has been commissioned to him by the Government of Punjab. Talking about the same, he said he will be starting off with the work by monsoon as soon as he is ready with the script's structure. He is expecting the film to be ready by December. He added that the said project was a great initiative by the government as a lot of youngsters aren't aware about the formation of the present-day Punjab.
