As The Expendables 3 continues production, producer Avi Lerner and his Millennium Films banner are rounding up a different version of the action ensemble, but this time it will be a whole crew of women called The ExpendaBelles. This is separate from the project that producer Adi Shankar is putting together with Gina Carano and Katee Sackhoff, and the cast is much more recognizable. Speaking to a Bulgarian newspaper (via Deadline), Lerner said that he was currently in talks with Milla Jovovich and Cameron Diaz to take roles, which makes sense because they've done action. But he also mentioned Meryl Streep. Frankly, it's not that unreasonable of an idea. After all, if Helen Mirren can be a bad ass in the Red series, why can't Meryl Streep kick some asses too?
