Ethan Hawke is taking center stage in Shakespeare's Macbeth at New York City's Lincoln Center this winter in the titular role. The seasoned actor will work with director Jack O'Brien, who worked with him on the 2003-2004 Broadway play Henry IV. The play will begin previews for a selected audience on Oct. 24, the Lincoln Center Theater announced Thursday. It appears that Hawke has wanted to play the tragic Scot for quite a while.
