Sad news for Comedy Central fans: stand-up comedian/actor Patrice O'Neal passed away at the age of forty-one after suffering complications from a stroke. His passing was confirmed by "Opie & Anthony" host Opie this morning, who tweeted, "Yes, it's true that our pal Patrice O'Neal has passed away. The funniest and best thinker I've ever known Period. #devastated"  Known for his darkly comic sensibility, O'Neal, who last appeared on September's Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen, was a longtime fixture of the New York comedy scene, making frequent appearances on shows like Late Night with Conan O'Brien, the Opie and Anthony radio show, and Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn.
