Bisi B. graduated from Santa Fe University of Art and Design with a BA in Creative Writing, Summa Cum Laude. She received her MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA.
Bisi B. spent the summer of 2018 in Cannes as part of the residency program of the Cannes Storytelling Institute. The inaugural residency program came with a first look deal of her screenplay, Queen of L.A. with Vivendi Canal Plus. Bisi B. is the author of several books, including, Welted Backs, a collection of short stories. She is the Creative Director and Executive Producer of The 10 Minute Theatre Festival. She made her directorial debut with the short film, Grounded. She is also the winner of the Alexandra Lederer Award. She curates a podcast that celebrates women writers, Storytelling with Bisi B.
When she was asked why she began the endeavor to produce Breaking The Mold she responded, "It's time the world be exposed to the amazing mothers, daughters, wives, and sisters who, every day, take on their own outdoor adventures. That's why Breaking The Mold matters."
