Carl William Bengtsson began his acting and directing career at the young age of 10, where he made a short film with his cousin and younger brother. When attending to the high school Berzelisskolan in Linköping, Sweden, he met four other high school students of similar interests. Together with them he made a highly successful debut as a filmmaker when tasked with making an English news report in high school. He was later further brought to attention after directing and acting for the short film Sopa! (2017), which won the school's annual film festival. He then rose to fame after several successful hits during his high school years, including Agent Clurk: Bördigt Uppdrag (2018).
