George Ellison is an American actor based in Chicago and Atlanta who is known for his work in film, TV and commercials. George started his acting career at Chicago's St. Nicholas Theatre in the 1980's where his acting coaches included William H. Macy and David Mamet. George jettisoned his soul-crushing legal career and resumed his acting career. He was a stage actor for years at major Chicago theaters such as Redtwist and City Lit. Though coached by some of Chicago and Atlanta's finest actors and comedians George remains a relative bargain (not even close to Denzel) to cast.

- William H. Macy, George's first acting coach, singled out George for a special note one night at class. George arrived late to class at Chicago's St. Nicholas Theatre. In the silence of the theatre George made a huge racket walking in wooden Dutch shoes on the creaky wooden stage. George interpreted Macy's red face and yelling at him in front of his peers as an affirmation of his acting skills. Macy later went on to Fargo & Shameless fame and George, well...TBD.
