I'm a German-British actor, writer, producer and theatre-maker. I grew up in Germany, but moved to the UK age 16 of my own volition and have since made London my home, where I'm also the artistic director of my theatre company Quandary Collective. I currently live between Rome and London.
I studied Drama and Theatre Arts at Goldsmiths University, then did an MA at East 15 Acting School. Since then I have worked with acting coach Mel Churcher and am training in Demidov technique.
Both German and English are my native tongues, as well as speaking Italian and French. Additionally to my creative endeavours, I'm a first-class horse rider confident in jumping, dressage, Spanish riding and more.
I have worked with directors all over Europe, in 2022 I shot experimental feature film 'Render' playing the lead Reya with Irish director Bryan Stewart. In the Spring of 2023, I worked with Portuguese director Francisca Borges on the short 'Bullseye'. Both of which are to be released in 2024. I have a long-standing collaboration with British-French director Annie McKenzie who will direct me again as King Richard in our upcoming feature film 'Richard II' based on our theatre company, Quandary Collective's adaptation. In this project, I'm also co-writing and development-producing.
Additionally, I'm writing a number of highly ambitious projects; my first feature film 'Mayblood', the Rome-based short film 'Bureaucracy', as well as working on a project with friend and collaborator Marie Bäumer.
I love mythology and the epic, as well as the gritty and personal. I would love to work in magical realism, fantasy or character-driven period dramas. Some of my favourite films include Cloud Atlas and The Personal History of David Copperfield. I would love to portray nuanced and faulty characters on an epic earth-shaking scale.
