Igor Belache e Sousa is a Brazilian-British actor. Igor was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
At 16, Igor began modeling for Mega Models, and at 17, he embarked on his acting career, studying at the Laura Alvim theatre and later at Tablado, both renowned theatre institutions in Brazil. In 2000, he landed a supporting role in the teen soap opera "Malhação" on the TV Globo channel.
In 2007, Belache moved to London, where he earned a degree in Performing Arts and continued his acting studies at Central Saint Martins. His immersive theatre performance of Franz Kafka's "The Trial" received acclaim, collecting positive reviews from Jonathan Watson at The Stage Magazine and Lynn Gardner at The Guardian.
On stage, Igor has portrayed Claudio in Shakespeare's "Measure for Measure," Reverend Hale in Arthur Miller's "The Crucible," Seth Preene in a production of "The Lights o' London" by George R. Sims, and various roles in John Littlewood's "Oh! What a Lovely War."
