Biography

Ka'I'ininokala'akea Rose Cornell Luker was born in Honolulu, on the island of O'ahu. She was born to Kristina Cornell Aquino and Christian Kanekahekili Lupenui. Her parents never married and she moved to Seattle, Washington with her when she was 3. Her mom finished law school at the University of Washington and together they lived there for her childhood. Ka'I'ininokala'akea often visited her father in Hawaii every holiday season. In 1991, Ka'I'ininokala'akea was apart of a March of Dimes Video regarding Teen Age Pregnancy in Seattle. Ka'I'ininokala'akea always had a passion in acting as a way of expressing herself, but she decided to pursue sports as it was her other love. Ka'I'ininokala'akea became a dominate sports player, competing at a young age in various tournaments for various sports. Some sports were skiing, basketball, soccer, horseback riding, softball, tennis amongst others). In 2001, her mother and new step- father, John Macarro, along with her baby sister, Avelaka Yawayawish, moved to Temecula, California. There Ka'I'ininokala'akea finished out grade schooled as a skilled athlete and eventually attended the University of Washington at Seattle. At the University of Washington she walked onto both the women's basketball team and the Crew team. In 2011, Ka'I'ininokala'akea married Marc Luker in Riverside, California. She became a step mom to two amazing boys, Andrew and Joseph. And today she is mother to three of her own children (Kamakanaeamauloano'Iolani, Poli'ahu, and Aaron Mana)
