- Jeremy "Jace" Wallace is a New York-based writer, director, and producer. Jace was born and raised in Indianapolis to Rosemary Wallace, an accountant at a hospital and Jeffery Wallace, a factory worker. At the age of 21, he fell in love with filmmaking. Waking up to AMTV, Jace was amazed by a music video on the channel. "Growing up, I remember watching music videos. Nothing too exciting. Just rapping and flashiness, but this was different. It was new. Felt like a film". That music video was OneRepublic's STOP AND STARE music video, directed by Anthony Mandler.
It laid the foundation for Jace as he quickly grabbed a camera and began as a music video director, focusing on fewer performance shots and more story-driven pieces. Following four years of music videos, Jace wrote and directed his first short film, ALONE, TOGETHER which was a sci-fi love story. The following year, he wrote and directed his award-winning film, HELLO, MALCOLM, a film about a teddy bear on the quest to find his voice.
