Mario Kainer is known for Green Northern Lights and Sweet Candy.
He started his career with the short black and white silent film Tobias, which was shot over a year in the Tyrolean Alps and completed production in Vienna in 2013. Before settling there, he participated in several short film projects in various roles. After moving to Vienna, he had successful collaborations and realized the short films Sweet Candy and Daddy's Arbitrage. With the St Pölten University of Applied Sciences he co-created, produced, directed and edited the documentary Green Northern Lights.
