Tony Parsons’ novel Your Neighbour’s Wife is being eyed for adaptation.
U.K. screenwriters Rebecca Pollock and Kas Graham are attached to write the serial, which is being described as a “propulsive erotic thriller.” The book, which dropped in 2021, follows Tara Carver — a happily married mother who finds herself willing to go to extremes when a one-night stand reveals himself to be a manipulative stalker.
A+E Media Group, Stockholm Syndrome and Endor Productions are partnering on the project, which has yet to be placed at a platform, and will be taking it to market shortly. “A+E Media Group is thrilled to be working with Kas, Rebecca and our wonderful partners at Stockholm Syndrome and Endor to develop a bingeworthy new series based on Tony’s acclaimed IP,” said Alexandra Finlay, A+E Media Group VP of scripted international co-productions.

HBO Max has deplatformed Gossip Girl, cancelling the follow-up series after just two seasons, TVLine has confirmed.
“So here’s the goss: it is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to announce Gossip Girl will not be continuing on HBO Max,” showrunner Joshua Safran tweeted on Thursday. “The EPs and I will forever be grateful to the network and studio for their faith and support; the writers for their devious brains and dexterous talent; the superstar cast for being the greatest of collaborators and friends; and the crew for their hard work, dedication, and love for the project.

[The following story includes spoilers from season two of HBO Max’s Gossip Girl.]
Thomas Doherty isn’t interested in what critics have to say about HBO Max’s Gossip Girl remake.
Instead, he focuses on bringing his best work to the role of Max Wolfe and doing the job he was hired to do. That’s not to say stepping into a show that was so culturally iconic and influential to millions of people wasn’t “nerve-wracking.”
In the reboot’s second season, Max Wolfe is turning over a new leaf. The once “pansexual playboy” is ready to settle down — with two of his best friends. The season kicked off with Max, Aki (Evan Mock) and Audrey (Emily Alyn Lind) in a committed throuple, aka triad. Over the course of the first five episodes, fans get a glimpse at the hurdles the three face as they’re figuring out how to make their relationship work,...

Xoxo, we've got a sneak peek at season two of the Gossip Girl reboot. Thomas Doherty and Evan Mock, who play Max Wolfe and Aki Menzies, respectively, were spotted on the show's New York City set July 26. The actors were seen sitting side-by-side, chatting with one another on a stoop. Doherty was wearing a purple-and-white robe with shorts underneath and black, white and baby blue Nikes. Mock, meanwhile, was sporting his signature pink buzzcut while wearing a red A Clockwork Orange sweatshirt, blue pants and black shoes.
