London based film composer Julian Chou-Lambert's film and television soundtracks have been screened in several countries across the world, from the UK to USA, Italy, Switzerland, China, Australia, New Zealand and beyond.
Film composer credits include the feature film 'Bonobo' starring James Norton, which premiered at Raindance Film Festival, the BBC documentary 'Art of the Night' from ZCZ productions, 'Avant Garde Youth', a contemporary dance commission for Sky TV, and 'Isis: Egyptian Goddess' by Sophie Siem, which received an honourable mention at the London X4 - Seasonal Short Film Festival.
Julian studied composition and cross-cultural perception of emotion in music at Trinity College, Cambridge, and completed a Masters in performance at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Awarded second prize in the Deutsche Bank Creative Awards for Music, he also has extensive experience in documentary distribution and script editing, and combines an in-depth knowledge of film craft with expertise in a variety of musical genres to create powerful film scores.
