It’s a tried-and-true method, in life and TV: When things get dull, just add sex. After four underwhelming episodes, mostly spent exhaustingly establishing new rivalries and schemes that hardly raise an eyebrow, the writers of “Billions” have finally delivered at least some of the goods that have recently been in short supply. The fifth episode of the season, “Contract,” advances new romantic entanglements for recently divorced Wendy (Maggie Siff) and Chuck (Paul Giamatti).
Since the groundwork had been carefully laid for both assignations, both were consummated without much fanfare or build-up. Still, as anyone who’s been through a dry spell will tell ya — it’s better than nothin’.

Hulu is betting on Greta Thunberg, with a documentary about the 16-year-old Swedish climate activist set to debut on the streamer in 2020.
Per our sister site Deadline, the team behind Greta (working title) has been following Thunberg, who was recently named Time‘s Person of the Year, “from her early school strike in Stockholm all the way to parliaments and massive international protests.”

Exclusive: Frank Grillo (Captain America: Civil War) is set for a recurring role on the upcoming fifth season of Billions, Showtime’s drama series starring Paul Giamatti and Damian Lewis. Season 5 is in production in New York and will premiere on the network in 2020.
Created by executive producers/showrunners Brian Koppelman and David Levien, along with Andrew Ross Sorkin, Season 4 of Billions saw former enemies Bobby Axelrod (Lewis) and Chuck Rhoades (Giamatti), and Wendy Rhoades (Maggie Siff), the chief counselor to each, come together to form an uneasy but highly effective alliance, aimed at the eradication of all their rivals. They include Grigor Andolov (guest star John Malkovich), Taylor Mason (Asia Kate Dillon), Bryan Connerty (Toby Leonard Moore) and Waylon “Jock” Jeffcoat (guest star Clancy Brown).
Grillo will recur as Nico Tanner, a modern artist.
