- In the early 1920s, Marion was an ingenue for the Myrkle-Harder Repertory Company and its affiliate, the Harder-Hall Company, of which her father, Eugene Hall, was manager. By 1928, Marion had evolved into the leading lady for the Harder-Hall Company, having the same status when she moved on to the Erlanger Theater Players in 1930.
- Primarily a stock theater actress, Marion's most notable screen role was that of the crippled unwed mother in Bondage (1933).
