- Dori Lucas has extensive theatre experience as a character actor, dancer, choreographer and director. Her professional experience began at age 14, when she appeared on the Showboat Majestic, under the direction of Dr. Kay King, of the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music. She studied voice, dance and theatre and continued her training at Thomas More College. - Dori has worked as a Special Educator for Cincinnati Public Schools for 16 years. In addition to teaching, she is well known for directing children's productions throughout the Cincinnati area. She has directed and produced, Annie, Jr., Godspell, Grease, Music Man, Jr., A Christmas Carol, The Wiz, The Wizard of Oz and Cinderella, to name a few. Choreography for musicals, dance teams and drill teams led her to a career of teaching Dance and Drama for 30+ years. Dori also worked as a professional print model beginning at age 15. She went on to join Teen Board as a runway model. In her 30's she was sought out to model once again by local artisans. Her love for film was ignited early on in her college years. She appeared in After School Specials and local commercials. Dori also had a few television appearances, most notably as a hired audience/stunt guest on the Jerry Springer Show. As a dance, drama and special education teacher, she inspires students to go after their dreams...and in turn, they've inspired her to go after her own. - Dori comes from a long line of musicians. Most notably is her 6th Great Grandfather, Johann Sebastian Bach.
- Dori and her husband, Brian blended a family of 6 children, her three sons and his three daughters. This Brady-like Bunch came together at the ages of 18, 16, 16, 14, 13 and 12! All but one of this crew have performed in plays, commercials and movies.
- Dori's son, Nic May and husband, Brian Lucas also appeared as background actors in the Life and Death of John Gotti.
