Last month we brought you news that naughty vocal Xbox Overwatch players would find themselves muted. Hell, 5 months ago we told you about a Overwatch pro gamer that got benched for streaming porn. And now there's a new report of spamming over audio.
An Overwatch player has find himself on the silent end of his mic. After a few attempts at audio chatting in-game, the player realized that no one could hear him. He had been silenced. When he questioned Blizzard as to why, principal designer Scott Mercer provided him, and everyone else on Battle.net, with a clear answer.
Any form of hateful, discriminatory, obscene, or disruptive communications. Threatening or harassing another player on either team is also unacceptable, regardless of the words used. So Yes, if you spam character voice...
