Shane Kiely

Shane Kiely was born on July 1st, 1988, in Marston Green, Birmingham, England, to Paul Kiely, a supervisor at Land Rover Cars who's parents were Welsh and Irish, and Sharon Bray. He was raised in central inner city Birmingham and educated at City Technology College. He joined the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers in the British Army as an infantryman and later pursued officer selection. After leaving the army, he studied Music and Professional Practice at Coventry University from 2006-2009. Among his teachers were virtuoso pianist Julian Hellaby and modern composer Chris Hobbs. After graduating, Shane continued to work in the private sector and public sector - primarily in human wellbeing whilst pursuing a career in the arts. Kiely was utilized in the 2016 production of 'Suicide Platoon' as an advisor, background artist and assistant. Shane continues his career in films, TV and theatre by acting and consulting on military and other aspects.
