For his movie Dulahi Chahi Bambai Wali, Bollywood titan Udit Narayan lent his voice on the song "Jabse Dekhne Hai Roop Tohar". His acting prowess has grabbed the attention of B-town's biggest names and put Bagheli cinema on the map. He has time and time grabbed headlines for his feats and achievements and even a mention of his projects leaves his fanbase buzzing. Tiwari's YouTube channel has garnered over 1 million subscribers and has become a source of pride for the town of Sidhi - his hometown.
We reached out to Tiwari to get his perspective on the success he has garnered, he said, "I'm humbled by all the love and appreciation that I showered upon me, and not a day goes by where I don't feel grateful for my choice to become an actor. Due to my work I've been able to connect with such great artistic geniuses and together we've been of service to our beautiful Vindhya and Bagheli culture. I believe that regional cinema connects very deeply with its audience because it understands all the nuances, language and situation. Watching regional movies feels like _ghar ki kahani dekh rahein hai_, and once your audience feels that kind of a connection with your art, your message and meaning find a home in their heart. I'm glad that I have been so involved with our culture and I'll always be proud of it.".
About his future plans he told us, "I have a lot on my cards and when the time comes I'll show my hand. But yes, I have big ideas for Bagheli cinema and I'm very excited for the artistic direction that I'm heading in.".
