Santoi VanNess Bishop was born on August 24th, in Jefferson City, Missouri, and is of Liberian and Jamaican descent. Moving to New York City he became the protege of pioneering hip hop director Gerald GeeBee Barclay, VanNess has been noted for directing low-budget, visually powerful videos for artists from across the world, including Dash, Kahnma, FA, Playa Poncho, Banned Wangon, Southern Playas, Dead Boy, and many more. VanNess has been an AD an a Director on commercials and book trailers for NGO's, Film festivals and self publisher. As a filmmaker, VanNess made his directorial debut in 2007 with an edgy drama titled "Frozen Memories Of Summer."
