- Hassanein Khazaal is an Iraqi filmmaker and writer. He is born and raised in Baghdad, and a graduate of history and French literature - University of Baghdad (2015). Hassanien wrote and directed three short films "That's me" (2014), "Last Seen" (2016), and "Countryman" (2019). Through his filmmaking work, he tries to explore stories about the conditions of Iraqi and Arab youth in the Arab region and the exile. Hassanein moved to Paris in 2015 and still lives there and continues working on his cinematic projects.
