Fami immigrated from India 2014 to attend the NAIT Digital Cinema program. Her natural affinity for film and people made her fall in love with the industry. Fami has worked on many projects in various roles such as producer in the web-series "Heartsong", where she worked alongside director of photography David Baron, and director Justin Brunelle. She wrote and directed Storyhive grant winner "Henna", which won best Experimental film Chicago 2017. Fami has taken on the role of assistant camera operator on many sets such as "Scrappers" where she worked with professionals like Chase Axton, and Corey Sadoway. Her list of credits don't stop there, in 2016 she was appointed "event coordinator" for the Canadians for Civil Society. Her production prowess is well rounded and only continues to grow with Fami's passion for the industry and the people within it.
