- Brayden Rowland was born on November 21, 1996 in Greenville, SC. He was raised by his now separated parents, Christopher Rowland and Tammy Mullins, in the nearby town of Easley, SC where he spent most of his childhood. Easley and the surrounding areas were where Brayden first started filming and delving into the art. As time passed Brayden began to see filming as more of a hobby and had planned to attend the Naval Academy and receive a degree in Naval Architecture to pursue a career.
At the age of 15, Brayden relocated with his mother and sister to Jacksonville, NC. It was here, in close proximity to Wilmington, NC where film and television production was a booming industry, that Brayden rekindled his love for film making. With his new found passion he poured countless hours into learning the craft. In 2016 he began college studying Film and Television Production Technologies at Cape Fear Community College. He completed one semester before having to make an abrupt move to Charlotte, NC along with his family.
Brayden was exposed to the arts at an early age, coming from a family of actors, singers, and performers. He was first introduced to film at the age of 6 (six) when he received his first camcorder, a Mattel Vidster Camcorder. This is the camera Brayden used to make his first documentary following the staff of Easley of Church of God. The camera had its limitations, being a maximum resolution of 144p and no more than 5 (five) minutes of recording time; Brayden overcame these obstacles and completed the documentary. It was when Brayden saw the final result of the project that he truly gained the appreciation for film making; an appreciation and passion that still lasts to this day. Over the next six years Brayden would continue to make content for himself, family, and friends. He upgraded cameras to a Flip Camera before receiving a JVC Everio that was passed down from his mother. During these early years of Braydens' life, filming was not much more than just a hobby. Prior to high school Brayden only took one paid contract, which was to develop advertising posters for an upcoming event with local sports company American Pro Wrestling (APW).
It wasn't until high school that Brayden began to truly consider film making as a career. During his time in high school he gained a corporate partnership with CyberLink Technology, where he worked as an ambassador for their video and photo editing suites. He would receive early copies and in exchange for the programs and exposure on the companies website, Brayden would put out videos advertising and showcasing the companies products. While also in high school Brayden took several internships in television production. The first internship was with the Onslow County Government Programming Station G10 TV. He also took an internship with the Onslow County School Districts Education Studios.
After high school Brayden began to take more contract jobs, as well as working on several independent productions.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Brayden Rowland
