Al Brando is a British actor of Kashmiri origin who embarked on an exciting journey in the world of entertainment. Born and raised in Kashmir, he completed his secondary education at Government High School Hattian Bala, where he displayed exceptional academic performance, earning a higher first class in Matriculation. He then pursued his passion for engineering, enrolling at Government Ali Gohar Degree College Chinari, where he successfully obtained a Pre-Engineering qualification.
Driven by a desire to further expand his knowledge, Al Brando joined the esteemed University of Engineering and Technology (UCET) in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir, to pursue a degree in Engineering. However, his path took an unexpected turn when he realized his true calling lay in the captivating world of acting. In pursuit of this newfound passion, he made the bold decision to move to London in 2004 to continue his education.
In 2007, Al Brando graduated from London Metropolitan University, where he earned a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Following his graduation, he embarked on a professional journey as an Electrical/Electronics Engineer, working at Sigmapi Systems Ltd in 2008. However, the allure of the performing arts proved too strong, and in 2009, he took a leap of faith, leaving his engineering career behind to pursue his dream of becoming an actor.
Al Brando initiated his acting career in 2009, initially by appearing in commercials for local TV channels. While working at NHS England, specifically in NHS Westminster PCT London, he continued to explore his passion for acting by taking on various commercial projects for local brands. His focus shifted towards camera acting for television and film, leading him to undertake extensive training in Theatre, where he honed his skills in the Stanislavsky method of acting. To further develop his screen acting abilities, he participated in numerous acting courses, including training under the guidance of Paul J Lane, a renowned British film Director, Actor, and Acting Coach.
Al Brando's dedication and talent have led him to notable achievements in the entertainment industry. He is recognized for his performances in the films "Hello Au Revoir" (2016) and "The Pro" (2016).
