Hendrik Flacke

Hendrik Flacke is a German theatre actor and producer based in Berlin. Although he's mainly performed on stage, he's also known for being a producer in Bruno (2016), his TV appearances in several episodes of Schicksale - und plötzlich ist alles anders (2010), and short films, such as Destroy Roy! (2015) and Kalte Füße (2015).
Born in East Westphalia, he first enrolled in Germanistics and Comparative Religious Studies in Heidelberg and Bonn. While working as an assistant director in Bonn, he discovered his love for theatre and established himself in Berlin to study performing arts. While completing his training, he worked as an acting teacher and production assistant.
Flacke's acting career has taken him to international stages in Austria, the Czech Republic, England, Germany and on board. He has performed a wide range of characters on stage: Harry in 'Harry and Sally', Tim Tooney and Novecento in 'Novecento - The Legend of the Ocean Pianist' or Belly in the play 'Letzte Runde'. Likewise, he's appeared in TV shows and numerous German short films.
Flacke has also worked as a producer for the award-winning short film Bruno (2016) (Atlanta Queen Festival 2017 - Best Short) and several plays, including Enigma by Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt.
From 2022, Hendrik is part of the theatre troupe of the Städtische Bühne Lahnstein in Rhineland-Palatinate.
