Born in Coburg, duchy of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, in 1990, Felix had an early interest in dramatic arts. At the age of 15, he started getting involved in theatre productions, mainly in the regional state theatre of Coburg. The insights he gained there consolidated his interest in acting and ultimately lead him to experimenting with cinematic arts - both in front and behind the camera. After shooting several short films, he graduated from High School in 2010 and left for India, where he gathered further experience in the field of film by working with 24FramesFilms, Delhi and at the FTII (FilmAndTelevisionInstituteOfIndia), Pune.
Returning to Germany, Felix was keen on expanding his knowledge in film and hence started working for SilberseeFilm, film pool, Samfilm and MorroImages. Gathering experience in various positions including production and sound, his main focus became editing. In 2012, Felix moved from Hamburg to Berlin and started working as a freelance editor. The following year, he was offered the possibility to join 41project by Tom Seil, with whom he edited his first American feature film shortly after.
