- The brilliant director Hisham Sharbatji was born in March 2, 1948 in Damascus, Syria. He is considered one of the directors that influenced the Syrian Cinema in the past 25 years. After graduating from Cairo, Hisham had immediate success with works that people found amusing, entertaining, critical, and relating to people's daily issues and lives in the Arabic world. He directed "Aylet 5 Njoum", "Aylet 6 Njoum, and "Aylet 7 Njoum" in addition to "Maraya (84, 86, 88, 2006)" and "Tash Ma Tash (2009)".
