Bill Hunt(XXI)
Bill Hunt studied film theory at the University of Wisconsin - Madison under the legendary historian David Bordwell. He's written, directed, and produced commercial film and video projects for such companies as 3M, the NFL, the Minnesota Twins, Upper Deck, FMC, the Saint Paul Company, Mazda, and Koch Industries. In 1997 he founded The Digital Bits.com to document and report on the development of DVD, and has become an influential industry analyst and consultant, advising consumers, the studios, and electronics manufacturers through two format wars. Bill has written and edited thousands of film reviews, blog posts, feature stories, columns, and magazine articles (for Geek Monthly, Widescreen Review, and Home Media Retailing among others) on the subjects of film, Blu-ray, and DVD, as well as various scientific topics, and is the co-author of "The Digital Bits Insider's Guide to DVD" published by McGraw-Hill. He's written or co-written numerous screenplays and has recently worked to develop a number of film and TV series pitch projects. His first novel is due to be published in 2016. He lives in Southern California with his wife, Sarah.
