James Tavelle, Jr. is a native of South Carolina. He graduated from Charleston Southern University with a Bachelor of Arts in 2017 and has been featured in films such as Faith's Song (2017) Operation Resist (2019), and The Law of Attraction (2019), as well as various independent films and small projects online as both an on-screen actor--such as on the YouTube channel, Third Hour Productions--and off-screen voice actor.
He began as a young writer with little interest in film work until he became friends with the owners of a small production company, Third Hour Productions. He occasionally starred in their videos and helped behind the scenes, however it wasn't until 2015, when his sister's agent got him involved with Sophie and the Rising Sun (2016) that his interest in film became a passion.
Whenever he's not filmmaking, he's either writing or spending time with his family.
