- Reber is a Synth-Pop band founded in 2010 by Galatha (musical alter ego of Spanish writer-filmmaker Irene Zoe Alameda) and Golem (her brother Daniel Alameda). Most of their songs are written and performed by Galatha, whereas Golem plays all the instruments. Their three albums have been produced by Antipop.
The band released in 2011 the album Who Reads Future?, the single MAD CITY in 2013 and the album The Future Maker in 2015. While their first album still carried a strong 80's pop style, their latest album shows an evolution towards a characteristic naive EDM encapsulating catchy pop sounds.
Reber is a band easily recognized by the retro-vintage, futuristic style of its songs and music videos. They are clearly influenced by the most intimate Beck and the lightest The Killers.
ANDROID MANIFEST
The figure of the Android is our bet for the future. Sooner or later we will live together with Androids, they will be our creation and we will have to extend to them our very same set of values, rights and duties, because they will be the children of our intellect.
If we fail to do it, we will commit the enormous injustice of discriminating beings that will only differ from us in the way they were primarily conceived and nurtured.
We will live with them and they will be different from us but, from a civil point of view, they will be our equals.- IMDb Mini Biography By: REBER
