John Smarr

A native son of Columbia, South Carolina, Mr. Smarr has spent his whole life here serving the community. He took acting classes in the state from 2008 to 2012 and appeared in numerous Public Service Announcements for Gang Awareness for the state of South Carolina.
An accomplished author and actor, he is known for his character acting feature films such as "Proverbs" directed by Terry Davis (whom studied under Spike Lee) and "Image to Capture" directed by Tony Romito. He occasionally volunteers and acts in movies for the University of South Carolina with the McCmaster Art Department.
Mr. John Craven Smarr is an avid sportsman, a professional Kayak River Guide with Palmetto Outdoors; a company that leads tourists on guided river tours down the Congaree River and the surrounding estuaries. He is also an amateur surfer and body border. Mr. Smarr is a camping and hiking enthusiast.
He attended the University of South Carolina and majored in Broadcast Journalism before focusing his attention to Arts and Science and Literature. Prior to his studies at University he graduated from the predominantly Christian Ben Lippen High School in 2006.
Mr. Smarr has a mother, father and two brothers that live in Columbia, South Carolina.
