David Sorcher is a photojournalist and art photographer who was born in Brooklyn, NY and grew up on Long Island. He studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, graduating with a BFA in Photography in 1982. He moved to Cincinnati, OH in 1998 and spent the next 20 years honing his skills photographing news, lifestyle and live musical events for local media outlets and teaching photography at Antonelli College. He married his wife, Veronica, in 2001. His work has been published in The New York Times, New York Magazine, New York Newsday, The Cleveland Plain Dealer, Ohio Magazine and the Cincinnati Enquirer just to name a few.
David relocated to Nova Scotia, Canada in 2018 where he continues to produce images for media outlets as well as Provincial governmental use. He spends much of his free time documenting the beautiful nature and landscapes of his newly adopted homeland.
