Mohamed Khalifa is an independent filmmaker from Egypt, he has worked on 16 short films. He has worked on many genres of movies like horror, sci-fi, and drama, but it was in 2012 that he made the short movie "The House of Darkness" which won him the dailymotion.com "Star" award that he started getting noticed, after that he directed and written several movies like "I Rise" which won him the Vancouver film school scholarship video competition and "Evolve" which is the first ever Sci-Fi film from the middle east. In 2015 he made the short horror/drama "Dead Inside" and then in 2016 he made the short epic "SAFE" which was a finalist in the indieboost film competition and the freedom shorts film festival, it was also featured on filmshortage.com.
In 2017 Mohamed went to study filmmaking in the New York film academy in Los Angeles were he made 4 more short films that were screened at the academy. Mohamed Graduated the short term course in August 2017.
