Multimedia artist Juliana Rodríguez was born in Argentina in 1984 and moved to the United States in 2014. Her childhood was heavily influenced by her fascination with Barbie dolls, grunge music, photography, and clothing, which continues to inspire her aesthetic in the present. She attended the Institute of Cinema Art of Avellaneda and received her Film Director degree in 2007.
Shortly after beginning her first film projects in 2009, she explored the Chroma Key technique, which led to the start of the digital art project that continues to this day called Revolver Dolls, where she combined her film skills and Barbie dolls developing photographic series.
"Horses" (2012), "The Corpse" (2023) and "Eternal Son" (2024) are some of her best-known films. Juliana alternates her passion for art, film direction and life with her two children.
