Is Selling Sunset canceled?!
Ever since the Netflix reality series premiered in 2019, scandals and drama have made it a success.
But after Selling Sunset Season 8, longtime viewers are left wondering if they’ll ever get more.
Netflix has already canceled a key element of Selling Sunset. Fans fear that the rest of the series is next.

Selling Sunset produced its first reunion special in 2022 — for the show’s fifth season.
The Netflix hit is not the first reality series to abruptly realize that Bravo had the right idea by filming these post-season discussions.
With Queer Eye‘s Tan France as the host, these reunions have been a success. Which is why viewers are taking to social media to express confusion and surprise at no Selling Sunset Season 8 reunion special.

Selling Sunset Season 8 was one of the most dramatic seasons of the Netflix hit, featuring shifting cast dynamics, relationship-ending bombshells, and a cliffhanger that must be addressed.
While reunion episodes of the show have aired sporadically, Selling Sunset Season 8 is the only season that deserves one.
Unfortunately, fans will have to wait until Selling Sunset Season 9 for more from our favorite Oppenheim Group realtors because the cast will not be assembled before then.
Variety first reported the shocking news, which is a bummer for Selling Sunset’s passionate fan base.
At the beginning of Selling Sunset Season 8, the Oppenheim Group had peace and unity.
Still, by the season’s end, every bond was fractured, leaving many questions about what’s sure to be an imminent shakeup on the horizon.

Selling Sunset fans can kiss a Season 8 reunion goodbye, according to a new report that the annual special won’t happen because of cast feuding.
Since Season 5, the realtors at the center of Netflix’s Los Angeles-set reality series have gathered for a filmed post-mortem conversation with Queer Eye‘s Tan France; that special usually drops on the streaming service within two weeks of the season premiere. But our sister site Variety reports that the reunion isn’t happening for Season 8 because of several ongoing fights among The Oppenheim Group’s staff.

Spoiler Alert: Though this article is a news story, it also contains spoilers for Season 8 of “Selling Sunset.”
The drama among the “Selling Sunset” cast continues to spill out onto social media and in the press, but sadly for viewers, Netflix will not be filming a reunion for Season 8 of the show. Reunions for “Selling Sunset” aren’t ritualized in the way that reunions for Bravo shows are, but after the Netflix series produced its first one in 2022 for Season 5, the cast sitting down with “Queer Eye” star Tan France for a special that drops within two weeks of the season is something that audiences have grown to expect. And after a messy eighth season of the popular real estate show, the castmates of “Selling Sunset” have a lot to discuss in front of their fans — but won’t be doing so. (Netflix’s representatives had no comment.)
The melodrama is manifold.

Selling Sunset Season 8 premiered earlier this month with high drama.
New Oppenheim Group realtor Alanna Gold managed to stay neutral amid a slew of drama.
Viewers watched in awe as she donned high fashion and opened up about her and her husband, Adam Gold, owning Pioneertown.
However, things took an explosive turn off-screen when Pioneertown residents posted an Instagram statement revealing that Alanna’s claims couldn’t be further from the truth.
The social media post called Alanna’s claims “baseless” before doubling down on its assertion that her revelations “undermine 78 years of internationally celebrated film, arts, and cultural history.”
“These claims belittle generations of artists, neighbors, nature lovers, community members, musicians, small business owners and otherwise magnificent people of Pioneertown,” the statement read.

Selling Sunset costars-turned-nemeses Chrishell Stause and Nicole Young have reconciled before — but they won’t do so again, according to Stause. “Absolutely not,” Stause told E! News in a new interview. “I think [Young has] proven the snake that she is. I tried this season to drop everything and really meant it, and it wasn’t until I watched the show that I saw how conniving she could be. Because you guys haven’t seen the receipts yet, but I have.” The two real estate brokers have butted heads since Young joined the Netflix reality show full-time in 2022, though they made temporary amends after Young apologized for engaging with a homophobic Instagram comment about Stause, per People. We're used to there being drama in every season of Selling Sunset, but Selling Sunset season 8 didn't hold back on the drama at all. Sadly, one of the top real estate agents at the O Group discovered some life-changing news this season. We're talking about Chelsea Lazkani, and the news involves her relationship with her husband, Jeff Lazkani.
Chelsea joined Selling Sunset in its fifth season and quickly became close friends with fellow O Group real estate agents Chrishell Stause and Emma Hernan. When she was introduced, it was revealed that she was married to a man named Jeff Lazkani and that they had two kids together. It seemed like the two were happily in love throughout the seasons, but it looks like things have drastically changed as of season 8.

Selling Sunset Season 8 pulled no punches and sent the storylines in different directions.
Through 11 episodes, we watched the ladies of the Oppenheim Group sell beautiful houses and get immersed in much drama.
For Chelsea Lazkani, the season was profoundly personal after she learned midway through that someone had spotted her husband with another woman at the W hotel.
Chelsea’s former enemy, Bre Tiesi, learned the news from new cast member Amanda Lynn.
“I don’t know how the f–k this is supposed to come out of my mouth right now,” Bre shared.
“A friend I’ve known for a couple of years, Amanda, asked to go to lunch. She told me that her friend, who she’s still very close with and sees, lives at the W Hotel in Hollywood and that he saw your husband with some girl…,” she added.
Did Bre purposefully reveal this information on camera?...

Selling Sunset Season 8 premiered on Netflix with high drama and even higher stakes.
Still, one of the newest casting additions ruffled many feathers despite only appearing in a handful of scenes.
Amanda Lynn first appeared midseason when she contacted Bre Tiesi to tell her she had some information about one of her castmates that she should probably hear in person.
When the pair met up, Bre was blindsided by Amanda’s claim that her friend, who works in the W hotel, witnessed Jeff Lazkani getting up close and personal with a mystery woman on more than one occasion.
Of course, Bre worked with Chelsea Lazkani and wasted no time taking the news to her while the cameras were up.
Initially, the pair bonded over the moment.

Bre Tiesi had a dramatic exit during the Selling Sunset Season 7 finale and her future on the Netflix reality series remains in question.
“I sure did walk out. I haven’t decided,” Tiesi told Extra in an interview.
Co-star Emma Hernan was next to Tiesi and weighed in saying there were “a few pros and a few cons,” with the empanada maker calling herself one of the “pros” for Tiesi to remain on the show.
“Here’s one of my pros,” Tiesi said pointing to Hernan. “There’s some things that need to be worked out for me to consider coming back.”
Tiesi joined the cast in Season 6 and quickly found herself in the middle of drama at the Oppenheim Group. Although she was able to turn things around in Season 7, an explosive confrontation with a colleague from her past (Cassandra Dawn), Tiesi was seemingly done with the show.

If you’ve ever been curious about the dining establishments visited by the agents of Netflix’s hit docusoap Selling Sunset, you’re in for a treat. The Hollywood Reporter has painstakingly made a list of all the show’s restaurants, starting back with season one, all the way up to the newest, season seven, dropped on Nov. 3. (A few places that are missing are the restaurants that didn’t make it through the pandemic and a few mystery locales that don’t give enough clues.)
We all know that Sunset has some of the hottest mansion porn in television and for the past few seasons, the show has also firmly established itself as a fashion voyeur’s obsession. But apart from the lavish real estate, intense outfits, and of course, the agents and the particular brand of drama each of them brings, there’s another thing that has a...

Sitting on a couch post-workout session in his office on the Sunset Strip, L.A. real estate broker Jason Oppenheim tells The Hollywood Reporter exclusively that his popular Netflix reality show Selling Sunset has been renewed for an eighth season and that production will begin soon on the latest installments of the series.
“For me, each season gets more and more fun,” says Oppenheim, who had originally hoped that the show — a bingeable mix of real estate, oft-combative personal dynamics, over-the-top fashion and L.A. nightlife — would run for at least three seasons. “When we were doing season one, we were like, ‘If we can get to season three, we had a real show. Anything above that would be icing.’ We’ve been running on icing for years now.”

Office romances can almost always get complicated, but dating your boss? Frankly, it's probably never a good idea. As Chrishell Stause learns in seasons five, six, and seven of Netflix's "Selling Sunset," some work relationships can get even more complicated after a breakup. "I do need space to help myself detach," Stause told coworker Emma Hernan in season five, following her split from Oppenheim Group brokerage owner Jason Oppenheim. "I don't know if we can keep working together anymore."
The 2022 season ended with Stause's future at the Oppenheim Group - and on the show - hanging in the balance. But as we see in season six, which premiered on May 19, 2023, she returns to the office, and in a much happier state. That's all thanks to her partner, musician G Flip. Stause and G Flip actually tied the knot on May 10, a moment that takes place during season seven of the drama,...

"Selling Sunset" costars Chrishell Stause and Nicole Young are still feuding in season seven. It seems the drama between the two started during season six filming, as they clashed early on due to Young's claim that Stause received credit for property sales she made years prior to joining the show (she joined in season six). Young also alleged Oppenheim Group boss Jason Oppenheim gave Stause the credit because he had a crush on her at the time (Oppenheim has dated both women).
Stause alluded to the conflict on her Instagram Stories in September 2022, long before the season dropped on Netflix on May 19. She wrote, "The thirst for camera time on season 6 is Real. Wow. That was insanity. But also So transparent. Get your 15 mins girl but leave my business out of it."
In a second Story, the realtor added, "Screenshots have been archived for this very moment. Of Course...

"Selling Sunset" season seven is almost here and, of course, the drama is never-ending. Netflix dropped the season's trailer on Oct. 12, teasing more shade from the Oppenheim Group agents and an intense sit-down between Jason's ex, Chrishell Stause, and his then-girlfriend, Marie-Lou Nürk, though they've since broken up. That, plus a playful rivalry between the "Selling Sunset" cast and their other Oppenheim branches, like "Selling the Oc," are what viewers can look forward to this season. But that's not all.
On Nov. 2, Netflix revealed that "Selling Sunset" will cap off its seventh season with a bonus reunion special on Nov. 15, hosted by "Queer Eye"'s Tan France. The last time the show aired a reunion was in 2022 for season five, which was an explosive episode that addressed the aftermath of Stause and Jason's breakup and revealed the former's romance with her partner, G-Flip. The trailer for season 7 of Selling Sunset is here, and it doesn’t disappoint in terms of the drama headed our way!
The trailer is shockingly light on the Nicole Young and Chrishell Stause drama, but does feature a conversation between Chrishell and Jason Oppenheim‘s then-girlfriend (now ex) Marie-Lou Nurk. If you don’t know, Marie-Lou indicated she might not have really liked Chrishell all-too-much at one point. Chrishell and Jason used to date, but she’s now happily married to G Flip.

Others featured in the trailer are Amanza Smith, Bre Tiesi, Chelsea Lazkani, Emma Hernan, and Mary Fitzgerald, as well as Jason and Brett Oppenheim.
Fans were unclear if Heather Rae El Moussa would be featured this season, but a new still (in the gallery below) confirms she’s at least featured, despite being left off of the season’s new poster.

Since first airing in 2019, Netflix’s real estate reality series Selling Sunset has increasingly been a showcase for fashion as much as it is about peeping into lavish L.A. homes. In recent seasons, the over-the-top looks seen on the show, which can verge on the impractical, have become memes on social media. Exhibit A: that Diesel skirt, which looks like a belt, worn by castmember Chelsea Lazkani, who was unable to sit while wearing it.
“I feel like we’re in a caliber all on our own,” says castmember Emma Hernan when asked what other reality series has wardrobes that rival the looks seen on Selling Sunset‘s agents, who all work at The Oppenheim Group. “There’s something about the fashion and the homes combined. It’s the perfect recipe. I really do feel like it’s untouchable.”

If the Selling Sunset cast is known for anything besides real estate, it’s their unbelievable outfit choices. Alright, fine, it’s actually their abundance of drama, but the clothes definitely take the third-place spot. While most open houses feature brokers dressed in blazers and tailored pants, the women on this Netflix show arrive wearing as little as possible and occasionally do shots of liquor off of each other’s bodies. No judgement, though.
Of course, we’ve seen plenty of designer brands featured on the show, from giant Chanel prints to tiny Louis Vuitton emblems donning everything from skirts to sports bras. But the more intricate looks often come without obvious labels. So, where do these women buy their wardrobes?

With Selling Sunset returning for its sixth season on May 19, series star Emma Hernan of the Oppenheim Group says that the new episodes of the Netflix real-estate reality show won’t be lacking in drama.
“Don’t worry, we have a new villain,” Hernan tells The Hollywood Reporter with a laugh, when asked whether things will be more placid on the show after the departure of cast member and fashion influencer Christine Quinn, who was at the center of numerous clashes on Selling Sunset.
“We have a new villain and I will let you and the audience decide who you think it is,” continues Hernan, who first joined the cast of Selling Sunset in season four. “Everyone has their own opinions, I have mine and I don’t like the villain. But everyone will make their own opinions. But I can assure you we have a new villain in the mix.
