AnnaBella Vaca is a Director, Writer, Producer and Visual Artist best known for her short films Dragons and High Schoolers, Getting Where They're Going and Women are Warriors. AnnaBella has written and directed twenty seven short films since 2016. Number 26, Dragons and High Schoolers won Best Screenplay at the Beyond Hollywood International Film Festival. Number 20, Women are Warriors placed in 13 international film festivals. Her first film, The Creepy Ghost was a finalist in the Noe Valley Girls Film Festival. AnnaBella is also well known for her feature length documentaries on Margaret Kerry and Trina Robbins. AnnaBella is from the San Francisco Bay Area. AnnaBella graduated from Oakland School for the Arts in 2021 and currently attends CSU Long Beach. While at university, AnnaBella has volunteered on over 20 student short films including four senior thesis films at CSU Long Beach and USC. AnnaBella has attended college courses at Columbia University in New York City, University of Southern California and University of California, Los Angeles, in film and visual arts. AnnaBella was the volunteer Media Intern for San Francisco's Cartoon Art Museum, starting in 2018 and ending in 2020 due to the pandemic. AnnaBella is a filmmaker and visual artist who hopes one day to expand her field into the professional world. AnnaBella always goes the extra mile to hire a diverse cast and crew. AnnaBella's goal as a filmmaker is to write stories for everyone that portray authentic characters all youths can aspire to be.
