Demon Lord, Retry! R , the ongoing TV anime adaptation based on the series of isekai fantasy light novels, has revealed a diabolic amount of new information, including a new trailer, new key art (below), and the official theme song performers. The series will broadcast in Japan beginning on October 5, 2024. Crunchyroll will also stream the series as part of the fall 2024 anime simulcast lineup. Asca performs the opening theme song for the series, which is entitled “Ashita Sekai ga Owaru Toshite mo” (“Even If the World Ends Tomorrow...”). MIMiNARI performs the ending theme song for the series, which is entitled “Clan Chic feat. Yuho Kitazawa”. The original Demon Lord, Retry! light novels are written by Kurone Kanzaki, illustrated by Makoto Iino, and published in Japan by Futabasha under their M Novels imprint. J-Novel Club publishes an English language version of the series as well as the manga adaptation with artwork by Amaru Minotake.

The film is titled The Eminence in Shadow: Lost Echoes.
