In 2007, Lily-Rose was hospitalized for a serious e.coli infection which led to acute kidney failure. Her father, who was in the middle of shooting "Sweeney Todd," halted filming so that he may be by her side as she recuperated. Depp later donated around $2 million to Great Ormond Street Hospital to show his gratitude.
