Born and raised in Central New Jersey, Taylor Morano is a New York-based director, producer, and editor. A recent graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, he is best known for directing the short comedy-horror film Big Demon Promise (2016). Morano's influences include Tim Burton, Brad Bird, and Steven Soderbergh.
Before transferring to NYU, Morano studied vocal performance at American University in Washington, DC.
Morano's favorite movie is a tie between The Princess Bride and The Lord of The Rings: Fellowship of the Ring.
In High School, Morano's film "Darkness" won first prize in Digital Video Production at the New Jersey TSA (Technology Student Association) annual conference in Ewing, NJ.
