Graduate from the University of Arts of Cuba and the International Film and TV School of San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba (EICTV) as a film producer. Viana González is also an Eurodoc Alumni 2017 and in 2014 she was part of the Scholarship for the Emerging Leaders of Latin America of the Concordia University in Montreal.
In 2011 she produced the narrative short films: Mila Caos, that was selected in La Quinzaine des rèalisateurs du Cannes, in the New Directors/ New Films and in the Rotterdam International Film Festival and Vecino (Neighbor), official selection in Biarritz Cinéma et Culture d'Amérique Latine, Mar del Plata Film Festival, San Diego Latino Film Festival, among others. In 2013 she produced the documentary short film De agua dulce (From Fresh Water) that won the Best Documentary at the 34 Habana Film Festival. In 2016 she produced the short documentary Casa en Venta (House for sale) with the support of the Sundance Institute and The Guardian and it premiered in IDFA and have been exhibited in many festivals such as Sundance, DocsMx and Doc Sheffield.
Since 2017 she takes part in the production company Fragua Cinematografía, alongside the Mexican director and producer Juan Manuel Sepúlveda. Together they are finalizing the documentary feature film The Still Life of Harley Prosper and financing stage of Juan Manuel's forth feature documentary La sombra del desierto (The Shadow of the Dessert).
With her Cuban production company Autonauta Films she is now in the post-production of the documentary feature film Hombre entre perro y lobo (Man between dog and wolf), supported by Ibermedia Coproduction Fund, the Spanish Film Fund ICAA and the Tribeca Latin America Film Fund and winner of the Pitching du Reel Postproduction Award.
