Laura Ashley Cooper

Laura was born in Xenia, OH, and lived in other places such as
California and Tennessee, but has lived most of her life in Reno, NV. A
large portion of her extended and immediate family hails from England,
her mother and sister migrating to the United States a few years before
she was born. Drawn to the arts as a young girl she knew she wanted to
be a performer, as she started out with gymnastics, martial arts,
ballet, jazz, and tap dance from a young age, played the trumpet in
elementary school, held roles in theater performances throughout middle
school and high school, attended acting and voice classes in college,
had choral and private singing/vocal training as a young child onward
through her college years, and was represented by the John Robert
Powers talent agency as a child. Her most recent acting experience was
the role of Alice in the 2014 short film "Niels", directed by Cameron
Miller-DeSart and produced by Photon Harvest Production's Erinn
Sullivan. Laura has also had a passion for education, particularly
regarding languages, which lead her to attend University of Nevada,
Reno where she earned a dual Bachelor's degree in French and Political
Science, and continued onward to attend some graduate school in the
university's Political Science graduate department.
