Beyond his craft, Sohrab channeled the personal grief of losing three brothers into powerful advocacy, emerging as a leading voice for Duchenne patients globally. In collaboration with his wife and producer, Nastaran Kavir, their synergistic efforts have produced standout titles like 'Duchenne Boys' (2021), 'Forbidden Birth' (2021), and 'Saman' (2020). With 'Duchenne Boys' as their crowning achievement, anticipation builds for their next venture, 'Roomi', slated for Spring 2024. Sohrab enjoys the warmth of family life in Stroud, England, with Nastaran and their children, Ella and Elia.
