Joe Bonilla began his career as a photographer and shortly after became
a Journalist, Social Columnist and Magazine Editor for Editorial
Televisa in Puerto Rico and Mexico. Some of his most important
publications included, Imagen Puerto Rico and TVyNovelas International.
He was also part of the team that founded Furia Musical, Elle and Marie
Claire en Español.
Joe set a league of his own pioneering as Press Agent; Multi-tasking his skills in Public Relations and Publicity for renowned celebrities out of Mexico City. He founded RightXposure Agency, where some of the first clients on his portfolio included: Ricky Martin, Jon Secada and Emilio & Gloria Estefan. Joe was also the Official Correspondent for Telehit and later became the Talent Coordinator for the Televisa primetime show "Al Fin de Semana."
Among other achievements and more than 20 years in the Industry; Joe's valued experience makes him one of the most renowned strategic marketing specialists of America.
As his vision transcends barriers, he managed to crossover the careers of talents such as: Fernando Carrillo, Julian Gil, Shalim, Adamari López, Luis Roberto Guzmán, Carlos Ponce and most recently Isabel Burr, Carmen Aub, Jeimy Osorio, Rafael Amaya, Hernan Canto and Gimena Gomez, among others.
In the Music Industry his brand name has been related to the success of important personalities like: Ricky Martin, Thalia, Fernando Colunga, Paulina Rubio and Shakira. Along with the music explosion an opportunity came to open a new chapter in his journey. Joe was soon to leave Mexico to Miami with Shakira, by the hand of his great friend and colleague, Emilio Estefan Jr. Joe was the Estefan's publicist and later was appointed for several years as Media Director for Latin America at their Miami Beach Headquarters.
The Boom Latino, considered as the golden glamorous age for Latin Music, allowed Joe to launch great projects including: Shakira, Alejandro Fernandez first ballads album, Jon Secada, Alex Pires, Carlos Vives, Azúcar Moreno, Selena and the legendary Celia Cruz. Joe's vast experience and his ambition of leading artistic careers through an ideal path led him to create the firm Crossover Agency 15 years ago, which is now Latinvasion Agency, in Miami, FL.
From Celebrity Press and Public Relations to Artistic Management and Strategic Marketing, Joe manages to reinvent and diversify his services launching, corporate openings and Red Carpets.
