- Melody Tavitian-Parra was born in beautiful, sunny Los Angeles. Starting out on stage, Parra acted in lead roles in numerous plays -including such classics as "Othello, Oedipus, and Pinocchio" - and musicals. Melody is a multi-talented actress, effortlessly switching from drama to action to comedy as well as between work on stage and screen.
Parra's background is Hispanic and Mediterranean. Her mother, Sonya, is an entrepreneur and her father, Raul, is a dentist. She has one younger brother, David. She is not only a rare, big-eyed beauty, but a brain. Fluent in English, Spanish, and French, Parra attended UCLA on a merit scholarship where she studied Literature and Acting.
Parra began working on screen in 2013 where she has since been cast in a wide array of lead and supporting roles.
