Her performance at Wacken 2013 made Nightwish go viral on YouTube and brought in a legion of new fans, to the point the song was nicknamed "Ghost Love Floor" by fans for some time. Floor and Hannes met in Grand Rapids, Michigan during a North American tour where their respective bands, Revamp and Sabaton, were opening acts for Iced Earth. She bemused him because he thought she was an Opera singer, yet she was drinking whiskey, smoked a cigar, and listened to Pantera (but hated Slayer). They currently live in Sweden.
- Was tall even as a young teenager, and was bullied for her height in school growing up; even though the Dutch average as the 2nd tallest population in the World (Lithuanians average 1st).
- Was inspired to start Classical singing lessons after the release of Nightwish's Oceanborn (1998). She used Classical singing in her band After Forever, but did not enjoy it to the extent Tarja Turunen and Vibeke Stene (Tristania) had, though she realized she had the voice for it, and was good at it. Though she continues to use Classical singing to this day, she much prefers Rock and Contemporary singing.
- Despite the fan based rivalry over whose the better singer for Nightwish, Floor Jansen and Tarja Turunen became good friends during After Forever-Nightwish tour together almost 20 years ago. They continue to stay in contact with each other, have performed Live together, and recently interviewed each other. Tarja doesn't like discussing Nightwish, and Floor doesn't bring up Nightwish (or it's members) to her.
- Is considered by most fans to be the most versatile Lead Singer Nightwish has had. Beloved by fans for her ability to bridge the gap between Tarja's refined, precision based, Classical vocals, and Anette's relaxed, contemporary, Pop/Rock vocals.
- Nightwish's Lead Vocalist and Frontwoman with the longest tenure of 10 years. Tarja Turunen's was 9 years, and Anette Olzon's was only 5 years.

- Made a Youtube channel, semi-frequently uploads her covers of songs to it.
- The third (and final) Lead Singer and Frontwoman of Nightwish, after Founding Member Tarja Turunen, and predecessor Anette Olzon. Tuomas Holopainen has gone on record to say that Floor Jansen will be the last Lead Singer Nightwish will have, as he finds lineup changes too emotionally-psychologically exhausting.
- Floor's cover of Shallow (Lady Gaga ft. Bradley Cooper) trended #1 in The Netherlands after her performance on Beste Zangers.
- Might have been the second Lead Singer and Frontwoman of Nightwish, but she was still in After Forever at the time, band members of After Forever and Nightwish were friends, and Tuomas Halopainen didn't want to steal their singer.
- Is older sister to Irene Jansen. Irene Jansen is slightly taller than Floor and is also a Vocalist (Areyon, Star One, Karma, Northward, Gary Hughes etc).

She was finally 'discovered' by the World for her abilities when she was made Nightwish's Temporary Vocalist in October 2012.
- Played the flute growing up.
- Tuomas Halopainen uses potent recurrent lyrical content, some consistently more per singer. Floor's lyrical themes frequently center on Naturalism, the Philosophical and Scientific achievements of Mankind, the Human Condition, time, and evolution. This marks a departure from both predecessors, where most lyrics revolved around Fantasy or animals.
- Has suffered several health problems in recent years. Previously suffered from Pancreatitis, then had a Cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal) in early 2021. Was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2022, with the tumor successfully removed in surgery. She's made a full recovery.
