At an early age, the Los Angeles native fell in love with a wide
variety of music. His musical styling reflects many of the musical
geniuses he reveres. Some of his influences include artist such as
André 3000, Prince, Timbaland, Stevie Wonder, Kanye West, The Beatles,
Quincy Jones, Max Martin, and Dr. Dre. As he grew he learned to play
piano, bass, drums and guitar. He also started writing songs and
programming "beats". After high school Chris attend Chapman University,
where he study composition and music theory. Once he graduated he
decided to pursue a career composing and producing music.
Chris got his first major break in 2000 on Jay Z's Hard Knock Life movie soundtrack. Soon after his first break, Chris began working as a song writer at Kenny "Baby Face" Edmunds entertainment company on another movie soundtrack. The company teamed him up with two very talented producers named John Rhone and Ontario Haynes. Chris and his new production partners worked together to created music for the Warner Bros. movie, "Love Don't Cost a Thing".
Once he established himself as a composer in the industry, he began working for television and film composer Kurt Farquhar. Working with Kurt Farquhar was an excellent experience for Chris because Kurt was constantly placing his compositions in different TV shows.
During his career as a musician, composer and producer, Chris has placed numerous songs in television shows and movies, as well as worked with gifted artists such as Chistina Milian, Whitney Houston, Abraham McDonald, Angie Stone, Kenny Lattimore, Raphael Saadiq, Norman Connors, Floetry, Dawn Robinson (of En Vogue), Fergie, and Ice Cube.
