Brenda Adrine
- Actress
Brenda is the proud mother of four and grandmother of
seven. She loves teaching the Adult Sunday School Class at
her church. For many years she worked in the church directing a youth
acting troupe and performing at different churches throughout
Cleveland. She worked for the Department of Defense for twenty-five
years, a job that afforded her the opportunity to travel throughout the
U. S. and abroad. Brenda retired in January 2002 as a GS-12 Financial
Systems Specialist. After retirement, she came back to her first love,
the theater. She has performed in plays at Karamu, East Cleveland,
Cleveland State Factory Theater, Tri-C Metro and Beck Center. Her
latest performances include, Sister I'm Sorry at Cleveland State, The
Storm Is Coming at East Cleveland Theatre, Fabulations, God's
Trombones, Steal Away and From Breast Cancer to Broadway at Karamu
House. She's done several industrial films for companies like Ohio Bell
and National City Bank in the 1980's. Brenda was cast as an extra in
the film 'I Alex Cross' starring Tyler Perry.
February 2014 worked on a film "Change My Name' with Duffy Liturgical Dance Studio to be distributed to Cleveland schools for Black History Month.
