Daniel Laux was born in Cambridge, Minnesota, to Vicky and Joe Laux, a television salesman. Daniel moved with his family to Blaine, Minnesota when he was eight years old. There he ventured into acting through school and church productions. He landed the role of the "bullies sidekick" in the White Horse Production film, Lights Out.
Daniel met Andy George through their church, Abundant Life Church in Blaine. They formed a friendship and began working on various video projects together. Daniel helped Andy produce his original documentary, "How to Make a Sandwich From Scratch." Daniel moved to the Milwaukee area in 2014 and met his soon-to-be wife, Alicia Rye. They married on May 19th, 2018. As of 2018, Daniel lives in West Bend, Wisconsin and occasionally helps with the production of How to Make Everything.
