Christi Given
Christi Given is an American singer-songwriter, composer, TV and radio host. Her ancestry is German, Danish, Scotch-Irish. She was raised in Southern California during her childhood. Given loved performing since she was a little girl and started writing songs since the age of 12.
Christi Given co-wrote her original song "The Other Side (Amazing Grace)" on June 1, 2015 with Capitol CMG's Joshua Silverberg and Grammy winning engineer, Nathan Dantzler. Given's song "The Other Side" debuted on KKLA Radio on 99.5 FM KKLA in Los Angeles, California shortly after. She has also been heard on San Diego's radio station KPRAISE KPRZ (1210am and 106.1 FM North County) in California, appearing as a guest panel co-host for Reaching Out Radio. Given performed her song, "The Other Side" as well on TBN and her music video played on the JUCE TV Network.
Given has had years of television experience as a stand in for the likes of Kristen Bell (movie double) and as a featured extra in the movie Nancy Drew (Emma Roberts), Disney's "Even Stevens" and seen in "The O.C" TV show. Given found her place in television, primarily while working with the Trinity Broadcasting Network (2009). Given hosted at TBN and the JCTV Network as a TV personality for over 9 years while obtaining her communications and journalism degree. She co-hosted a talk show called, "Top 3," appeared on "Praise the Lord," and hosted for XVZ (the top 10 music video countdown show). There, she developed multiple programs for their youth channel which, eventually became known as the JUCE TV Network. She had her own online TV shows with JUCE TV, one called, "The Power Source," and the other TV show that she hosted and directed was entitled, "The JUCE Music Insider." Given interviewed music legend Pat Boone, singer Lincoln Brewster and other influential people.
Between 2017-2020, Given penned and recorded over 350 TV tracks (short jingles) for networks such as A&E, Bravo TV, LifetimeTV, the E! Entertainment Channel, and more. She placed over 650 songs on television with ASCAP. Her songs can be heard on shows like "Bling Empire," "Little Women of LA," "Little Women of Atlanta," "Dance Moms," and more. Given is a member of the American Society of Composers and Publishers and still to this day, has original songs being placed for television.
In 2022, Given launched her latest music project which, is a country collection of songs she wrote entitled, "La La Love." The EP was produced by country singer Roger Miller's son Dean Miller (Dolly Parton, Kacey Musgraves, and Chris Stapleton). Her EP release is comprised of 4 songs, you can listen and purchase her music on Bandcamp. Her music video "Homeward Bound" is available on her Vimeo channel.
